About Family Assistance Program
The Family Assistance Program (FAP) is a community-focused organization based in San Bernardino County, California, dedicated to empowering individuals and families to live healthy, safe, and fulfilled lives. Since its founding in 1985, originally as the High Desert Domestic Violence Program, the agency has significantly expanded its scope to address a wide range of community needs. Today, FAP provides comprehensive support services, including shelter for domestic violence victims and homeless youth, transitional housing, anti-human trafficking programs, counseling, and various preventative education initiatives, all aimed at helping low-income families build stable and secure futures.
