Engage with fellow business professionals in a networking event that offers a blend of business resources, member presentations, and the warmth of Cafecito, Pan Dulce, and Breakfast. This gathering provides a unique opportunity to connect, share insights, and build valuable connections in a welcoming and nourishing environment.
This month’s speaker is Esteban Penameza, Program Manager, Veterans’ Resource Center at VVC.
Victor Valley College’s Veterans Resource Center supports veterans, active-duty, reservists, and dependents with admissions-to-graduation help. Services include priority registration, guidance on VA education benefits, and step-by-step checklists for new and continuing students. The VRC offers veteran-focused academic counseling and a VRC Student Education Plan, plus certification forms, progress rules, and help if called to active duty (refunds and Military Withdrawal). It connects students with DAV claims assistance, county VA offices, CalFresh, scholarships, jobs, and the Veterans Club.
This month’s Cafecito is also special for one more reason! We are celebrating Día de los Muertos! Join us in honoring loved ones by contributing a photograph, candle, or flowers to our communal altar, which starts at 7:00 AM. The Business Meeting and Pan de Muerto (sponsored by Stewart’s Immigration Services) will follow at 7:30 AM, and the first 40 people get a gift!
